I was fortunate to be part of some fantastic projects in the fields of Art, Culture and Heritage. In this section I will write about the projects that I handled with Pragya, Delhi Art Gallery and independent projects.
I undertook many challenging travels and handled projects, funded by international funding bodies during my job as a Heritage and Conservation professional when I was with Pragya, a development organisation working in high altitude areas.
Then while working at DAG, my learning curve about publishing, art history and the business of the art world was unimaginable. Working here built my foundation for my future projects that I undertook in the publishing and writing industry.
I will start with my projects in Himalaya: In this section I will attempt to take you through the journeys that I have had, the challenges as a traveller to these remote areas of the High Himalayan regions, the wonderful people I met, the timeless moments I had and most importantly the things I learnt. There are instances that you will perhaps find my experiences surreal and my writing even poetic, but stay with me as I try to bring to you all these events, the sights and sounds of that time through my words, for these moments are embedded in my mind even after so many years in its pristine form.
